Denarau Island Resort Stay

We stayed on Denarau Island near Nadi.

What we loved about here is that it's close to the Nadi International Airport and that it's really convenient as a central place for tours and activities including our cruise.

On the island there were activities like a golf course, tennis club, plus all the activities at our resort including scuba diving, parasailing, kayaking although snorkelling isn't recommended.

We also rented a car and went to Suva one day and then around the top of Viti Levu to lautoka and further on another day.

I recommend renting a car and driving away from the ritzy resorts to get more of a Fiji cultural feel.

It was probably the most relaxing holiday I've ever had.

Needless to say the weather was warm the whole time which made night swimming very relaxing.
